Q-Cells SE and Kaneka Corporation have signed a contract that Kaneka grants Q-Cells and its affiliates a worldwide non-exclusive license of patents EP1009037 and US6300555.

The patent EP1009037 relates to a technology of spacer for a framing of solar cell modules whose spacer has specific thermal conductivity and resistivity, which is widely useful to protect thermal breakage of the solar cell modules.
